About Us
Huw Watts Independent Financial Planning Ltd has been established since 1996 and is centrally located in the Somerset town of Clevedon. The practice is conveniently placed within easy reach of the M5, allowing us to maintain excellent communication with a wide network of clients, both old and new, throughout the South-West including Thornbury, Taunton, Bristol and Bath.
The Early Years
Born in Bristol, I attended the Universities of Swansea and Cardiff, reading History and then completing a post-graduate Certificate of Education. This was followed by four enjoyable years teaching at a large comprehensive school in South Wales. I then decided to take up a career in financial services before moving back to Bristol in 1986. After ten years working for various financial services companies, I decided to start my own practice in October 1996.
Currently
Today, married with two grown up children, I believe I have the life experience and technical expertise to offer my clients a sound and friendly service.
The practice has remained small, with just 4 members of staff
(2 advisers). However, our reputation is large within Clevedon and the surrounding area. The majority of our meetings take place at our comfortable town centre office, with parking nearby.
